Ibizkus

Ibizkus Wines is the largest winery under the geographically protected indication (IGP in Spanish) – Vino de la Tierra de Ibiza.

The main focus of the winery is to produce premium wines, with hand-picked grapes and strict respect for ecological processes in the vineyard. The challenge has always been the preservation of the identity of the local grape varieties: Mourvèdre (locally known as Monastrell) and Malvasia. These two autochtonous grape varieties account for over 90% of the winery’s production.

Passionate about the notion of “terroir,” the island offers some extraordinary conditions: isolation from the mainland, the climate and the soil, that allow vines to to grow and mature, many of them ungrafted, offering authentic wines with personality and characteristically Mediterranean flavours.

Ibizkus is situated between the towns of Ibiza and Santa Eulalia, with ample facilities that allow abundant space for the fermentation, production and bottling of its wines as well as a space dedicated to the consumer: a tasting room and a store.

The winery offers tasting tours, with or without pairing, to discover the various processes involved in the production of its different wines. It also offers tasting in its vineyards as well as private events in its tasting room and terrace.
