How I found Ibiza...
Exactly forty summers ago (August 1973), I arrived from Rome with a friend and a Kawasaki, and stumbled across San Carlos. I found magic, energy, sun, open spaces and people and I fell in love with the Island. Since then, my love for Ibiza has strengthened and now that our numbers have increased (my whole family), I feel more integrated every day.
Some of its myriad facets...
Nature on the Island is unique. It’s spectacular and at the same time, it’s intimate. The hidden corners, the coves, the interior, the villages and the churches. I like it even more in May, June, September, October, November, December…
A Luxury on the island...
If you want to party all night, you can, but if you seek peace and quiet to replenish your energy, the option is there and nobody will bother you. I can still feel the breeze of individual freedom.
My favourite moment...
The cliffs at Puertas del Cielo, the Margalidas, Es Cubells, the church and Father Vicente, eating tapas at San Agustín, the beaches of Las Salinas and Cap des Falcó, eating tostas at San Mateo (toasted bread with various toppings), the fair in my village, San José de Sa Talaia, the countryside of San Joan, the sunsets over the Dalt Vila Cathedral, having a drink and listening to music at the Café Pereyra…
A memory when I’m far away...
That I need to go back!
The magic of Ibiza...
It’s a state of happiness the island lends to those who believe in her and treat her with respect.
What I tell my friends...
Guys, after a week in Ibiza you feel like you’ve been on vacation for a month.
